What is Smart Shifts?
Smart Shifts is an online program that allows managers in the service industry to simplify their weekly scheduling process. Our program is user-friendly, affordable, and it can easily be adapted to meet the needs of any business in the service industry.
Smart Shifts saves managers time and money since it allows employees to request time off, list their availability, and trade shifts with each other all online. Managers can even send out individual employee schedules via email and text messages.

Yes, the Smart Shifts program is easy to use because it was designed with the user in mind. You can easily set up your scheduling account in no time.
You’ll begin by defining each type of position on your staff. Then input each employee’s name and his or her position. The next step is to outline a schedule with the positions that need to be covered. All that’s left is to assign each staff member to a specific shift or use the SmartLoad feature to automatically assign staff based on preference and availability. After the initial setup of your Smart Shifts account creating each week’s schedule will become even easier.
Can I still use Smart Shifts if some of my employees are unfamiliar with the Internet?
Yes, you can still benefit from using Smart Shifts even if your employees cannot access the Internet on their own. The program was created to ease the workload of managers in the service industry so the manager can make any adjustments that employees would do for themselves. However, we suggest that you have at least one computer with Internet access in you facility that is available to your staff members to give those who do not have Internet access the ability to make schedule adjustments while at work.
I lost/forgot my username/password. How can I regain access to my account?
Regaining access to your Smart Shifts account is easy. Simply click on the link on the Sign In page and answer a few quick questions. You will then receive an email with your account access information and can continue to schedule your staff the smart way.
